2019 Miner Music Festival
July 27 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm$15.00
Get ready for the 2019 Miner Music Festival on Saturday, July 27, from 4–10 p.m. on the Miner Brewing Company Concert Lawn. This all-ages evening music festival is for everyone who has a love of both music and the outdoors. Bring a chair, blanket, or hammock, and relax to the tunes of This Frontier Needs Heroes, Them Coulee Boys, and Timmy The Teeth.
This Frontier Needs Heroes is the moniker of songwriter Bradley Lauretti, who in various forms and lineup changes, has spent the past 10 years playing shows all over the world. Logging thousands of miles in their car, touring the greatest cities of North America and Europe, selling one record at a time, making one fan at a time. This determination and DIY ethos brought them on an epic journey around the world, playing clubs, houses, and festivals.
Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., Brad is now based in Nashville, Tenn. He has performed at Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, Folk Alliance International, Magnolia Festival, Hickey Fest, Gamble Rogers Folk Festival, Gram Parsons Guitar Pull, End of the Road (UK), Reeperbahn, Incubate, Athfest, Clean Water Music Festival, Connection Festival, Sing Out Loud, Savannah Stopover, Stetson Kennedy Foundation Literary Landmark Celebration, and is the winner of the Artsville Songwriting Contest.
Allegedly founded at a Bible camp, and born in the back valleys of Western Wisconsin, Them Coulee Boys craft a brand of Americana that blends punk, bluegrass, and rock & roll. Somewhere underneath the energy, the exuberance, the wit, and the passion of Them Coulee Boys lies a heart. It's a heart filled with sincerity, honesty, and the will to make the world a better place. This heart is not only evident in every song, but also in Them Coulee Boys as a whole. These songs are meant for dancing, for excitement, but are also for thought, and for the quiet moments. Them Coulee Boys seek to balance the high with the low, the happy with the sad, and the love with pain. It's how we all live our lives, and this Miner Brewing Co. favorite makes music that reflects that.
Often described as a "Cowboy from the Crypt", Timmy The Teeth (aka Timothy George) has unknowingly found his way to the forefront of a new musical brand as genuine as his personality. After years behind the drum kit for frequent collaborators Joshua James and Desert Noises, Timmy The Teeth has now emerged as a unique voice at the forefront of the Utah music scene. Drawing from a tradition that spans a great deal of the traditional American songbook, Timmy has created his own brand of “outlaw,” keeping a lighthearted confidence while singing about the kinds of things we're all thinking but not saying. Recorded in his hometown of American Fork, Utah, Timmy The Teeth's latest release, "Ain't That Bad," was produced and co-written with Joshua James, and offers a bold, humorous, and hooky follow up to TtT's debut LP, "Just Another Day."
