Miner Brewing Co. will release Tapestry IPA in their Hill City taproom and at Miner Brewing Co. and Prairie Berry Winery Taproom in Sioux Falls on Saturday, April 6. Made as part of the Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day event, a portion of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to the Pink Boots Society.
The Pink Boots Society is an international collective of women in the brewing industry. The Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day was created as a way for local chapters and members to come together to create a special beer in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8.
“It takes a group to create a tapestry fabric,” said Brewmaster Sandi Vojta. “All of us women in the brewing industry create this tapestry. We’re all from different components of it, different walks of life, and we’re all different and unique. It take all of us to create this image and that’s where Tapestry IPA came from.”
Tapestry IPA has an intense aroma with floral, pineapple, and grapefruit notes. A mild malt base partners with tropical hop notes to create a sweeter flavor profile, met by a moderate resinous bitterness.
The Pink Boots Society was created to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education. To learn more, visit pinkbootssociety.org.
